Christopher Ellinger (formerly Christopher Mogil) founded Bolder Giving with his wife, Anne Ellinger. After unexpectedly inheriting money in their 20s and ultimately deciding to give 50% of it away, Anne & Christopher dedicated much of the next 30 years of their lives to donor organizing. They co-founded More than Money, a nonprofit peer education network which published the groundbreaking More Than Money Journal and co-authored the award-winning book We Gave Away a Fortune, the guidebook Welcome to Philanthropy, and numerous articles in More Than Money Journal.

Christopher is a graduate of Princeton University. He and Anne live in Arlington, MA and direct True Story Theater, a Playback Theatre Troupe that he founded in 2001 to honor the voices of marginalized communities and strengthen organizations and communities working for social good. Christopher is leading the development of the Playback North America network. Christopher currently serves as an emeritus board member of Bolder Giving.
